# Deadclick

> Deadclick is a web service that monitors ad landing pages. It checks the pages that Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn ads point to, and sends an alert by email, Slack, Discord or Microsoft Teams when a page returns an error, shows an out-of-stock message, loses a tracking tag (Google Tag Manager, GA4, Meta Pixel) or drops UTM/gclid parameters in a redirect. Available in English and Polish (Polish: "Deadclick sprawdza strony, na które kierują Twoje reklamy, i alarmuje, gdy pojawi się błąd 404, brak towaru, zniknie piksel śledzący albo przekierowanie zgubi UTM.").

Deadclick does not connect to ad accounts: users add page URLs or upload a CSV exported from Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager. Every problem is confirmed by a second check 5 minutes later before an alert is sent. Pages are read as the server sends them; content loaded later by JavaScript is not checked yet.

## What it checks

- Page errors: 404 and 410 codes, 5xx server errors, timeouts, connection and certificate failures.
- Redirects: Redirect loops and chains longer than 5 steps that slow the page down and lose visitors.
- Campaign parameters: Whether utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, gclid, fbclid and ttclid reach the final page.
- Tracking tags: Whether Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel are still on the page after every site update.
- Out of stock: Messages like “out of stock”, “sold out”, “ausverkauft” or “brak w magazynie” in the visible text, in 6 languages.
- Offer content: Your own phrases: the price or promo line must be on the page, and “offer expired” must not appear.

### How is Deadclick different from uptime monitoring like UptimeRobot?

Uptime monitoring checks whether a server answers. Deadclick checks what decides whether an ad works: whether the product is in stock, whether tracking tags are on the page and whether redirects keep UTM and gclid parameters.

### Do I need to connect my Google Ads or Meta account?

No. You give us page URLs, never logins. That’s why Deadclick works with every platform: Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, email and QR codes.

### How often do you check pages?

From once a day on the free plan to every 5 minutes on Agency. Every problem is confirmed by a second check 5 minutes later, so you don’t get false alarms.

### Will checks slow my site or skew analytics?

One check is one light request, identified as Deadclick. We never run your analytics scripts, so we don’t show up in GA4 or your ad reports.

### Does it work with Shopify, WooCommerce or PrestaShop stores?

Yes. Deadclick checks any public page, whatever platform it runs on.

### What if my site blocks bots?

We mark the page as “blocked”, not as an outage, and explain how to allowlist Deadclick in your firewall.

### Can I cancel anytime?
