Stop paying for clicks that land on broken pages.

Deadclick checks the pages your ads point to, around the clock. When a page returns an error, sells out, loses its tracking code or drops UTM tags in a redirect, you get an alert by email or in Slack.

Who it’s for

Deadclick is for people who pay for ad traffic but don’t control the page that traffic lands on.

PPC specialists and freelancers

You run campaigns for several clients while someone else edits their sites. You hear about an outage before your client asks about results.

Agencies

Hundreds of URLs from many accounts in one place, alerts in your team’s Slack channel and a report for every client.

Online stores

Products sell out while shopping campaigns keep sending traffic to them. Deadclick spots “out of stock” within the hour.

What we check

Every page goes through six tests on every check, and we only send an alert once a second check 5 minutes later confirms the problem.

Page errors
404 and 410 codes, 5xx server errors, timeouts, connection and certificate failures.
Redirects
Redirect loops and chains longer than 5 steps that slow the page down and lose visitors.
Campaign parameters
Whether utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, gclid, fbclid and ttclid reach the final page.
Tracking tags
Whether Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel are still on the page after every site update.
Out of stock
Messages like “out of stock”, “sold out”, “ausverkauft” or “brak w magazynie” in the visible text, in 6 languages.
Offer content
Your own phrases: the price or promo line must be on the page, and “offer expired” must not appear.

Deadclick reads the page as your server sends it. Content loaded later by JavaScript isn’t checked yet.

How it works

Setup takes a few minutes and needs no access to your ad accounts.

  1. Add your URLs

Paste page URLs or upload a CSV exported from Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager. We pick the URLs out of the file automatically.

  2. Choose what matters

Each page has its own settings: out-of-stock detection, tracking tags, UTM, offer phrases and a response time limit.

  3. Get alerts

You get one message per problem and another when the page works again. Alerts arrive by email and in Slack, Discord or Teams.

This is what an alert looks like in your team channel

Deadclick

What an hour of a broken page costs

Every hour an ad sends people to a broken page eats 1/24 of the campaign’s daily budget. What matters is how soon someone finds out.

An outage found at the weekly report costs €420; with a Deadclick alert it costs €2.92.

€
  1. Deadclick, Pro planchecked every 15 minutes and confirmed 5 minutes later: alert after about 13 min on average
    €1.04
  2. Deadclick, Solo planchecked hourly and confirmed 5 minutes later: alert after about 35 min on average
    €2.92
  3. Someone notices next daybreaks overnight or in the afternoon, spotted in the morning: about 12 hours on average
    €60
  4. Weekly reportbreaks on any day, spotted at the weekly results review: 3.5 days on average
    €420

Budget spent on clicks to the broken page

An illustrative calculation, not market data. It assumes the budget is spent evenly around the clock and every click after the outage is lost. In practice platforms spend more at peak hours, so a daytime outage costs more and an overnight one less.

Questions

How is Deadclick different from uptime monitoring like UptimeRobot?

Uptime monitoring checks whether a server answers. Deadclick checks what decides whether an ad works: whether the product is in stock, whether tracking tags are on the page and whether redirects keep UTM and gclid parameters.

Do I need to connect my Google Ads or Meta account?

No. You give us page URLs, never logins. That’s why Deadclick works with every platform: Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, email and QR codes.

How often do you check pages?

From once a day on the free plan to every 5 minutes on Agency. Every problem is confirmed by a second check 5 minutes later, so you don’t get false alarms.

Will checks slow my site or skew analytics?

One check is one light request, identified as Deadclick. We never run your analytics scripts, so we don’t show up in GA4 or your ad reports.

Does it work with Shopify, WooCommerce or PrestaShop stores?

Yes. Deadclick checks any public page, whatever platform it runs on.

What if my site blocks bots?

We mark the page as “blocked”, not as an outage, and explain how to allowlist Deadclick in your firewall.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, in one click. After you cancel, 3 pages stay watched on the free plan.
